Special Education Paraprofessional - General Application for 2023-24 School Year 

 

All general applications received will be considered for all open paraprofessional postion at the Elementary and Secondary levels. 

 

 

Job Summary:  Works side by side with the special education preschool instructor to offer structure, assist in classroom management and help enhance a good working environment for learning. This job may include assistance for students with disabilities.

Qualifications:  Experience working with children, empathy for students with special needs, basic computer skills, gets along well with others, reliable, punctual, patient and understanding. Able to communicate effectively with students and staff.

 

Application Procedure:  As a current employee of Papillion La Vista Community Schools you must submit an internal application.  However, if you are applying from one classification to another such as a classified employee to certified employee or Paraprofessional to Custodian, you are asked to submit an External Application with the district so that we will have the additional information needed to accurately evaluate your qualifications for this position.
